Email Settings for Outlook 2003
How to: Setup your Bluewire Email service with Outlook 2003
- Right click the Outlook 2003 ICON located on your desktop. Left click on Properties.
- In the Mail Setup – Click E-mail Account button
- In the Email Accounts Wizard Select Add A New Email Account, Click Next.
- On the Server Type page select POP3, Click Next.
- Internet E-mail Settings (POP3): Fill out the following information.
- Your Name: Enter your name as you would like it to appear on messages you send
- E-mail Address: Your e-mail address
- User Name: Enter your full email address such as email@bwmail.us
- Password: Type your password
- Incoming mail server(POP3): Type the incoming e-mail server, mail.bwmail.us
- Outgoing mail server (SMTP): Type the outgoing e-mail server, mail.bwmail.us
- Click More Settings, then click Outgoing Server Tab and Check “My Outgoing Server(SMTP) Requires Authentication”
- Click OK
- Click Next
- At the Congratulations screen click Finish.
Bluewire Email Server Information
Email Server is POP3
Incoming mail server is: mail.bwmail.us
Outgoing mail server is: mail.bwmail.us
Account Name or User Name is full email address such as email@bwmail.us
When sending mail through the bluewire mail server make sure Outgoing server authentication is set or SMTP authentication is set.
How to: Add an Email Account to Outlook Express 6
- Launch Outlook Express
- On the Tools menu, click Accounts
- In the Internet Accounts dialog box, click Add, and then click Mail
- In the Internet Connection Wizard dialog box, in the Display name: text box, enter your display name.
- Click Next>
- In the E-mail address: text box, enter your email address.
- Click Next>
- On the My incoming mail server is a… server drop-down menu, click POP3
- In the Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server: text box, type mail.bwmail.us
- In the Outgoing mail (SMTP)server: text box, type mail.bwmail.us
- Click Next>
- In the Account name: text box enter your full email address such as email@bwmail.us and in the Password: text box, enter your password
- Click Next>
- Click Finish
- In the Internet Accounts window there should be an account created named mail.bwmail.us Highlight this account and select Properties on the Right.
- Click on the Servers tab.
- On the very bottom there is a check box under Outgoing Mail Server labeled My server requires authentication make sure that is checked and Click on the Ok Button.
